Nuthall and Strelley Village Crime Update

Nuthall East –


Anti Social Behaviour – 1


Nuthall Roundabout 12/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 1335 hours that two youths were on silver mopeds and they were not wearing helmets. The two youths looked around fifteen years of age. Both males wore their hoods up and were wearing dark clothing.


Suspicious Incident – 1


Perivale Close 14/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 1945 hours that two males had been flying past on trial bikes and that they nearly caused an accident with the caller. The males ran off and left their motorbike running in the road, saying they were sorry. One male aged between thirteen and fifteen years old, wearing black jogging bottoms, black hoody with a white print on the front, short in height with light brown hair. There was another older male who was also with him on another motorbike but he went off too quickly to see him. The motorbike was a small 125 pit bike according to the caller. A male returned claiming to be with the other male and he said he had just come over from Broxtowe Country Park. The male was then seen running back off towards Broxtowe Country Park. The male did state that he knew who the male was who had just abandoned his bike. The caller narrowly missed hitting the bikes because of how they came flying out in front of them.  


Theft From Motor Vehicle – 1


Hammersmith Close 12/09/2017 –


Caller reported that sometime between the evening of the 11/09/2017 and the following morning all the wheel centre badge caps had been removed and stolen from their car. The following evening the roof aerial had been removed and stolen from the car after it was left parked secure overnight on the drive. The offenders caused damage to the car in removing the aerial by causing scratches.


Theft Of Motor Vehicle – 1


Nottingham Road 13/09/2017 –


Caller reported that their black car had been stolen without the keys. The car that was left parked secure was removed and stolen sometime between 1830 hours on the 12/09/2017 and 0615 hours. This was close to the junction with Kimberley Road.


Nuthall West –


Anti Social Behaviour – 1


Saint Patricks Road 16/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2220 hours that their neighbours were being loud with shouting, music on loud and setting off fireworks. The caller believed that they had thrown fireworks on their yard because the back garden area was lit up. The noise had woken their children up.


Suspicious Incident – 1


New Farm Lane 16/09/2017 –


Caller reported at 2200 hours that a group of four white males aged around forty years had four dogs with them. One of the dogs attacked the caller’s dog. The caller believed they were hare coursing and they had large torches with them. The caller stated they were large dogs and they could see their ribs on them. The caller stated they looked like greyhounds with German Sheppard heads. The caller was not sure if they had any weapons with them and they were on the fields at the end of New Farm Lane over the motorway bridge. The group were on a footpath that leads towards Bulwell. One of the males had wellingtons on and they were all smoking and of a scruffy appearance. The group were heading towards the Sellerswood direction on foot and no vehicles were seen.   


Strelley Village –


Burglary Dwelling – 1


Oakland Way 14/09/2017 –


Caller reported that their work laptop had been removed and stolen from the home address by an unknown person who entered the address on the 11/09/2017 sometime after 1800 hours while the door was left unlocked. The caller found some of their paper work on the park nearby on the morning of the 12/09/2017. The laptop and dictaphone were left unattended in the hallway close to the front door.
